In 2019 I inked a series of birds, one per day for every day of October, and posted them on social media (for InkTober). These are all birds that can appear in Nova Scotia and the drawings are based on my own photos. They are inked with brush pen and shaded with pencil, a few have digital color added to the scans.
In total there were 31 drawn for the challenge, plus a few extras drawn afterward. Here are some of my favorites from the series. Many of these are available as prints and some as cards (better scans without any text).
